Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of robosecurity.io (the "Site"). The Site is operated by 2Secure Corp., a New Jersey corporation ("2Secure", "we", "us"). RoboSecurity™ is a service of 2Secure. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
- The Site gives general information. It is not security advice for your specific equipment.
- Nothing on the Site creates a client relationship. Services start only under a signed agreement.
- Never let a website, including this one, override your plant's safety procedures.
- Do not scan or attack the Site. If you find a weakness, tell us.
1. Information only, not professional advice
Content on the Site, including descriptions of attack paths, example findings, the exposure self-check, the FAQ and any guidance about incidents, is general information about robot and operational technology security. It is not an assessment of your systems and is not legal, engineering, insurance or compliance advice. Example findings are illustrations and do not describe any real customer.
The self-check score is a rough indicator based on your own answers. A high score does not mean your systems are secure, and a low score does not mean they have been compromised.
2. Safety comes first
Robots and automated equipment can injure people. Always follow your site's safety procedures, lockout/tagout rules, the equipment manufacturer's instructions and applicable safety standards. Nothing on the Site replaces them. Do not test, reconfigure or power-cycle robotic equipment based on Site content alone. If you suspect an incident that affects safety, make the equipment safe first using your normal procedures, then call us.
3. No client relationship from using the Site
Using the Site, submitting the contact form, sending us email or calling the incident line does not by itself make you a client or create any duty for us to act. Assessments, incident response, hardening, monitoring and other services are provided only under a written agreement signed by both parties. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement controls for those services. Service descriptions, timeframes and response targets on the Site describe how we normally work. Binding commitments appear only in a signed agreement.
4. What you send us
Please do not send passwords, access credentials, network captures, controller backups or other sensitive technical data through the contact form or ordinary email. We will arrange a secure way to share that information once an engagement is in place. Information you submit through the Site is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to share it, including on behalf of your employer.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scan, probe, load-test or attempt to breach the Site, its hosting or our systems, or bypass the Site's bot protection
- Submit false, misleading, automated or bulk inquiries, or use the form to send spam or malicious content
- Use the Site to harm, or to plan unauthorized access to, any person's equipment or systems
- Copy, frame or republish substantial parts of the Site, or present its content as your own
- Use the Site in violation of any law
Search engines and AI assistants may index, summarize and cite the Site with a link back to it, consistent with our robots.txt file.
6. Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a vulnerability in the Site, email robotics@2securecorp.com with enough detail for us to reproduce it. Do not access data that is not yours, disrupt the Site or share the issue publicly before we have had a reasonable time to fix it. We will not pursue legal action against good-faith reports that follow these rules.
7. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, design, graphics, the self-check and code, are owned by 2Secure Corp. and protected by copyright and other laws. © 2026 2Secure Corp. All rights reserved. RoboSecurity™ and the RoboSecurity logo are trademarks of 2Secure Corp. Other names and marks mentioned on the Site, including robot makers, standards bodies and software, belong to their owners. Mentioning them does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
You may view the Site and print or save pages for your internal business use. Any other use requires our written permission.
8. Links to other sites
The Site may link to other websites, such as standards bodies, government advisories and 2securecorp.com. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. No warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Standards, regulations and vendor advisories change, and Site content may not reflect the latest version. We do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, 2Secure Corp. and its officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, production downtime, lost data, equipment damage or business interruption, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US $100). This section covers use of the Site only. Liability for paid services is governed by the applicable signed agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify 2Secure Corp. against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that result from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Site.
12. Resolving disputes
Talk first. If a dispute arises about the Site or these terms, contact us at the address below. Both sides will try in good faith to resolve it informally for at least 30 days before starting any formal proceeding.
Then arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally, it will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, unless both sides agree to another location or to a remote hearing.
Courts. Either side may go to court to enforce an arbitration award, to seek an injunction protecting intellectual property, confidential information or the security of the Site, or to bring an individual claim in small-claims court. Those court proceedings will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction.
Claims will be brought only on an individual basis, not as part of a class or representative action.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by the Federal Arbitration Act.
14. Changes and general terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about use of the Site.
